The log of one man's quest for wind and sunshine

Library/ Anti-Library

I’ve had some time to read while on the road, and it’s kinda nice to keep a list (who was that author again?….)  At the same time, in The Black Swan, I learned about an Anti-Library — a list of books you would like to read but haven’t yet.  Feel free to leave comments with suggestions.  Shelfari is pretty neat for this purpose, as I use the Kindle app on my iPod touch to read, and Shelfari syncs with Amazon nicely:

  1. Hello Jos, It was great running into you last night in Barra de Navidad.

Love your anti library. I have been stockpiling my books on my ipad for the trip. Suggestions are always great. I just read. Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. great read I had a hard time putting it down. Intense about American POW in WWII.

    Enjoy your ride.

Against the Gods, the remarkable story of risk, by Peter L. Bernstein. It’s a history of mankind’s measurement of risk, from games of chance hundreds of years ago to modern financial instruments. One of my favorites.
